What ShiftFlow uses
ShiftFlow reads and writes workplace names, rates, shift dates and times, unpaid breaks, calculated hours, expected earnings and optional notes in the Google spreadsheet connected through your personal link.
Google permissions
Google handles sign-in. The shared app runs using the signed-in visitor’s Google account permissions. It currently requests the Google Sheets authorisation scope, which is broader than access to a single selected file. Review the actual Google consent screen before agreeing.
The personal link identifies the data file to use. Google sharing permissions determine whether the signed-in account can access it. Keep your copy set to Restricted, and do not post the full personal link publicly.
Where the data is processed
Your data is stored in your Google spreadsheet and processed by Google Apps Script to display the app and calculate summaries. The reviewed source has no separate seller database, advertising integration or external analytics service. Google services have their own processing and logging.
Just Plan and Simple maintains the hosted app and can publish updates. Account permissions and careful management of your own file remain important; the recorded tests are not a guarantee against every possible security issue.
Your choices
You control sharing of your spreadsheet. You can stop using ShiftFlow, manage records in your copy, and revoke app authorisation in your Google account settings. Google controls its own retention and recovery processes.
Support messages
Only send the information needed to explain an issue. Do not send passwords, patient or client information, or full copies of personal financial records. Support emails are normally deleted 90 days after an issue is resolved, except records that need to be retained.
